My Findings:

I’ve been using the lip balms on and off for a couple weeks now. I don’t normally have a lot of issues with my lips drying out or cracking – but for whatever reason, last week they were sore. I took the Chic stick (represents my personality -ah not too sure on that one but that stick happened to be sitting in front of me) and applied it to my lips. I did this for a couple of days and each time I applied the lip balm my lips felt relief. The balm wasn’t heavy on my lips which is a huge plus as I don’t like anything heavy feeling on my skin. After two days of use – my lips were all better 🙂 Ironically, as I was writing this review, my lips felt crappy again. So I’ve started to apply the lip balm again and am feeling certain that they will feel better real soon.

Purex UltraPacks Detergent PLUS OXI Review

Purex UltraPacks plus OXI I jumped at the chance to review Purex UltraPacks Detergent Plus OXI. I couldn’t wait to see if these little packets could do the job that I had been experiencing with Purex’s Liquid Detergent plus OXI.

These UltraPacks are very simple to use. Just throw one ultrapack into the washer with your laundry, add your softener, and you’re done. There’s no measuring, which is a nice feature if you’ve got many in the home doing their own laundry. These UltraPacks could end up saving you money. And, because there’s no measuring of the detergent, you know that just the right amount is being added to the washer load (did you know – soap attracts dirt? I know – seems crazy, but it does).

All the loads of laundry I used the UltraPacks in, came out looking just like the liquid Purex Plus OXI. Of course if stains have set in the clothes, you’ll still need to pretreat those – that’s a given. And if you over-load your washer – clothes never come out as clean as they could (I’m working on getting this through my teen’s head). If I had to take my laundry to the laundromat, I would choose using UltraPacks simply because of their size and weight.

All in all – I love these little buggers. Seriously – UltraPacks are one of the best inventions since chopped liver – if you ask me! Combine UltraPacks with the Purex brand plus OXI and I’m sold!

I recently had the opportunity to experience Litter One – the eco-friendly litter box system – a 100% biodegradable, disposable, self-contained litter system – including the packaging.

Arriving in a biodegradable box, ready to be assembled – the assembly couldn’t be any easier. A few folds of the cardboard and you’re done. The system is not made of flimsy cardboard. It’s thick and will not easily bend out of shape. And when all set up – the litter box measures 19″ L x 14″ W x 9″ H sides; front opening = 4 1/2″ H x 11″ W.

Rod Stewart’s new “Time” album will hit the shelves on May 7, 2013 – the first album released in almost 20 years. I have to say – it’s as good as the very first Rod Stewart album that I listened to over forty (40) years ago. That’s right – we are once again dating myself but that is okay. I’ve moved on in time just as Rod Stewart has. And I have to tell you a secret! His hairstyle hasn’t changed one bit; and ironically, neither has mine!)

I know it’s pretty sad that he and I have the same hair styles we did 20 years earlier regardless – you can count on Rod’s new album to have the same rock style it did back 20, 30, 40 years ago. That’s right – Rod has been producing albums for 40 years and has been a dad for 30 years. His voice, his lyrics are still as good as ever – some things never change.

When I was asked if I’d like to review Everest Nutrition Krill Oil – I was more than happy to do so. I had heard there were benefits of omega 3 krill oil but didn’t realize there was such a difference between fish oil vs. krill oil until performing this review.
