White Cloud Luxuriously Soft Bath Tissue Made with TAD Technology

Bath Tissue! It’s not all made the same, as I am sure many of you know. But did you know that the White Cloud brand has a new product called White Cloud Luxuriously Soft Bath Tissue? This new bath tissue is made using a new technology called “TAD,” otherwise known as “Through Air Dried.”

What TAD technology is, is where a special machine blows air through single-ply sheets thus creating a two-ply sheet. I was given the opportunity to sample this new innovative bath tissue and I have to say, I am impressed. White Cloud states that they “make premium quality paper products without the premium price.” In sampling this product I do feel that it is a premium product.

Makeup and the Teen

My daughter has hit her teen years and with that the makeup has started. Granted, most girls her age have been wearing makeup a lot longer than she has, so I really shouldn’t complain. She’s also been coloring her hair for quite some time – well, I should say, when I will allow it. What I can’t make her understand is that all these cosmetics cost money and it would be nice if she would help cut the cost by using coupons like Loreal coupons that one sees online and in the Sunday paper coupon inserts.

In talking with my mother in law tonight – she was telling me how she was cleaning her carpet. Well, actually spot cleaning it because to do the entire rug herself is too hard on her body right now. If she had just asked, I would have gone up and helped her and I think I still will. Sure she could hire an expert rug cleaning service, but that is not how she operates. What she was doing though – set off a memory I could live without.

In July 2012 – I published a post written by a mom who whom was diagnosed with malignant pleural mesothelioma. Heather was given 15 short months to live; however, Heather’s story still lives on years later – she’s a survivor.

Wedding season is approaching. And if you happen to be the bride and groom – or the parents of either – you just know there are so many things to think about. So many costs involved. There are many ways that one can cut costs if you’re on a tight budget – one of those being cutting the cost of the bridal bouquets and other flower arrangements.

When I got married I opted for my bouquet to be of silk flowers while the rest of the wedding party, the flowers for the church, and reception hall being real flowers. For me – my silk arrangement was a matter of having a keepsake but I really love fresh flowers. However, there wasn’t a whole lot of money to spend on my wedding so we had to be creative, cut corners, and make compromises.

For a very long time now, like we’re talking 32 years at the minimum, I’ve been a collector of Precious Moments. I don’t buy them like I did in my younger days, but I find myself often searching the net to see what is new in the product line. I was just doing this and came across a site that captured my attention that not only had Precious Moments but also had German Beer Steins.

Finding this site took me 25 years back in time. Back then, I had a real close friend who purchased beer steins for her husband for each anniversary, Christmas and birthday. And when I saw the selection of the steins this site had, I was in awe. I particularly fell in love with the Octoberfest German Black Beer Horn Stein. They are just so different – so unique. There’s an entire selection of Octoberfest German Beer Steins and you want to talk about beer steins with intricate details that are all handcrafted in Germany – they are stunning!
