A Visit to Water Country

My family had the pleasures of visiting Water Country and we had a great time! Two of us had never been to a ‘BIG’ water park before and didn’t know what to expect. Myself, I wasn’t quite sure whether I’d be sitting off to the sidelines while the kids experienced the park or if I would actually be going on the slides and rides after viewing the pictures on their website. I was thinking maybe I was just a tad bit too old and wouldn’t fare well; considering I don’t like roller coasters or things that move fast that I have no control over – things that never used to bother me. I have to tell you, I was pleasantly surprised and had a blast. Be assured – you’re not too old to go! During our visit, people of ALL age groups were there 🙂

Wal-Mart’s Lay-a-Way Program Extended

Start your holiday shopping earlier this year! Wal-Mart’s Lay-a-Way program is extended for the 2012 holiday season; use it to your advantage. The interest free program is starting on September 16, 2012 instead of beginning in October. Rather than charging your purchases this Christmas, save yourself the interest fees and put them on layaway little by little so that you don’t have to pay them off all at once.

That’s not all. Shoppers will be allowed to layaway more electronics, toys, small home appliances, and select sporting goods such as trampolines and exercise equipment.

Greenies SmartBites – Review from Cat’s Eyes

Somewhere along the line, I signed up to receive Greenies’ new SmartBites to test drive on my fur babies. I had completely forgot I had done this and when this box arrived with a Greenies’ label – I was like what? It actually sat on my table because I was on a semi-vacation where I literally was in and out of the house – mostly out :).

The time came where I opened the box. Look what the fur babies received:

I was thrilled that Greenies was so generous in sending the amount of packages they did. With 15 cats, I would’ve felt really bad if someone got left out of being able to try them. Thank You Greenies 🙂

I guess now is a good time as any to introduce you to Mr. Mu. Mr. Mu is 5yo, has the personality of 10 cats, thinks he’s all that and more, and at times loves to strut his stuff with an attitude to simply intimidate the other cats. I can always tell by the look on his face that he’s up to no good.

I recently was approached to review Jamberry Nails. With there being several designs to chose from, I chose the Silver Floral on Magenta. When they arrived I knew I had made the right choice – they’re very pretty.
