Like Matcha Green Tea? Have you tried Kissme Organics – Organic Matcha Green Tea Powder?

Kissme Organics - Organic Matcha Green Tea Powder

Black tea in itself contains a lot of properties that are healthy for us. Green tea, though, has even more health benefits. However, all green teas aren’t created equal. For instance, in having the opportunity to review Kissme Organics – Organic Matcha Green Tea Powder, I learned that this particular green tea has all these benefits:

137x THE ANTIOXIDANTS OF BREWED GREEN TEA – Antioxidants are essential as you age to boost your body’s natural defenses against oxidation. Researchers have found that a high level of dietary antioxidants can prevent many age-related diseases.

IMPROVED SKIN HEALTH – Scientists have discovered that Matcha Green Tea helps protect the skin from harmful UV rays, while improving blood flow and oxygen levels lifting the overall quality of the skin.

ALL DAY ENERGY WITH INCREASED FOCUS – Matcha provides 4 to 6 hours of mild steady energy as it acts as both a stimulant and a relaxant. This is ideal for focusing on whatever the day throws your way.

METABOLISM BOOST – Consuming matcha green tea can increase thermogenesis (the body’s own rate of burning calories) from a normal 8%-10% of daily energy expenditure, to between 35% and 43% of daily energy expenditure.

I’ve been consuming this organic Matcha green tea now for over a month.  I dissolve a teaspoon of the tea in a mug of water.  This has become a nightly ritual for me.  Now you may be thinking – why would you do that if this tea is going to provide you energy for hours?  The answer is simply that I am up most of the night caring for my son.  I find myself more alert as I do paperwork following my cup of tea.  I enjoy the light bitter taste of the tea, which some may not enjoy as much as I do.  I add nothing to my cup of tea – no sugar, artificial sweeteners or dairy products.

So let’s take a look at what a cup of this tea looks like:

When mixing this green tea in a cup of water – it dissolves very well for the most part.  I did find that some would settle to the bottom of the cup, so every now and again, I would use a spoon to mix it up.  The picture below is a good resemblance of what this tea looks like.  It may not be quite as dark in color, but it certainly displays the color you see on the left – a brighter army green color.  The cup of tea above – is just what it looks like dissolved.

Making a cup of this tea to drink isn’t all you can do with it.  You can make many recipes using the tea where you won’t have to drink it – which may just be the thing to do if you don’t care for the light bitter taste of green tea.

For instance – make lattes, smoothies, use it in recipes such as breakfast foods, drinks and cocktails, and sweets.  This organic matcha green tea is of culinary grade and USDA certified organic.  The recommended daily does is 1/2 – 1 teaspoon daily.

One can purchase this  Organic Matcha at Amazon.com.  Since you don’t need a lot of this tea to reap the benefits – you’ll find this bag will last you quite a while (depending on how often and how you use it.   Since this was my first encounter with matcha green tea powder – have you tried it?   And what is your experience with this type of tea?

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.—

    • Georgia – if you get it – you’ll have to come back to let me know how you liked it. It’s a bit pricey, but since I only use it for hot tea I can justify the money spent – I don’t splurge on anything to speak of for myself.

Granted, reviews don’t tell all and I know some are paid – even though it’s against Amazon’s TOS – so one can’t trust all the reviews they read; but I really did like this Matcha.
