I love animals – all animals. I’m particularly fond of pigs and goats (aside from my love of cats and dogs). So when I see or hear of an animal that isn’t living in humane conditions – I feel compelled to do what I can to help them. I’ve signed this petition to help these mother pigs not be crated while they’re pregnant. Will you do the same, please? They need our voices.
We set sail on Classic Harbor’s Schooner Adirondack III Boston Mass and what a time we had! It was a hot, humid, cloudy day with a chance of thunderstorms, but the crew knew what they were doing from reading the radar and took us out on a beautiful excursion of Boston Harbor as the radar said – you’re not getting the storm. I was so excited to hear that news because I had never been on a sail boat – of any magnitude.
However – had the radar changed when we were out in the Harbor and should we have needed to take cover – going down under in the boat would have been okay. This vessel was equipped with a kitchen, table, bathroom in addition to the seating atop. The vessel was clean and well maintained.
Once aboard the Schooner we were introduced to the crew. The captain explained to us what to expect from the crew, the sail, and what we could and couldn’t do aboard the boat. We were offered beverages during the sail…which was a nice touch since it was so hot.
I am very proud to be a part of the bloggers who put all their efforts into raising money for The Bounce Back Film, starring Shemar Moore. The Bounce Back crowd funding project was funded at 100% and more. That said, the fundraising has been extended another week.
