Thanks for the post from Hal Potter
There is a moment in my life that I will never forget. It was exactly one year ago today. I visited with my doctor as I always had and was told that there was no way around knee surgery, that it was my only option at that point. My knee has been the biggest complication in my life, causing me unrelenting pain for as long as I can remember. I tried to keep it under control without surgery, but the pain became unbearable, so the doctor set the date and the surgery was done. I remember being in even more pain after, but I was hopeful it would get better. I was confined to a bed for about a week. At first I was bored out of my mind. I am usually never home, much less laid up in the bed all day. I decided quickly that I should go to www.expertsatellite.com and sign up for satellite television service so I could at least have something to watch. Instead of lying there feeling sorry for myself, I was able to take my mind off everything and escape into a fictional world.
