Are you looking for a way to make your trash look not so trashy and be environmentally friendly at the same time?  Designerliners can do just that!  Designerliners are 100% biodegradable trash receptacle liners with a pretty print on the inside of the liners so when you fold them over the top of your trash barrel you see a pretty design.  These liners come in 10 different colored patterns: Pink Polka Dot, Orange Polka Dot, Navy Blue Polka Dot, Red Gingham, Gold Gingham, Black Leopard, Blue Leopard, Red Toile, Blue Toile, and Black Tattersol.

Every designerliner is made from a revolutionary additive technology which makes it biodegradable while maintaining the other desired characteristics of plastic products.

Designerliners are:
– are fully biodegradable in 9 months to 5 years
– are fully biodegradable wherever they are disposed of
(where other things are biodegrading- anaerobically and aerobically).
– are recyclable
– can be made with recycled resins
– do not use heat, light or mechanical stress to break them down
– do not require special handling
– do not contain heavy metals
For purposes of this review, I was sent a package of 12 Black Tattersol Designerliners.  I used the liner in my desk trash receptacle.  They are generously sized – 24 in. x 24 in. and fit 7-10 gallon wastebaskets.
The thickness of the liners are not on the thin side like many cheap liners are.
Now my desk trash receptacle isn’t all that small – it’s actually the base to a paper shredder that I killed the shredder part to.  After inserting the liner, I tied a knot on one side to take up the slack hanging around the outside.  I should have made it more pretty by adjusting the outside liner; however, I wanted give you an idea as to how large they really are.  I was not worried about the trash you see over-flowing as when it was time to remove the liner as I knew I had plenty of room to fill the liner up with even more trash had I wanted to.  And since only paper only goes in this trash receptacle, I can reuse the liner. Designerliners are a great way to give personality to those dingy boring trash receptacles.

Would you like to try these out for yourself?  One entrant will have the chance to do so!  Designerliners is sponsoring a giveaway where one lucky person will get a package for themselves!
