pop secret perfect pop app

The weekend has come and gone – it was certainly full of excitement. We went to Connecticut on Saturday and to Hampton Beach in New Hampshire on Sunday. We decided to end the weekend fun by curling up in front of the TV watching a great movie with some popcorn. And guess what? We invited the Pop Secret and their Perfect Pop app to join us!

In today’s world we reach for a bag of microwaveable popcorn, unlike when I was a child. Back then, we’d get out the big sauce pan, oil and bagged popcorn kernels to pop our own. It was a chore as you had to keep that pan moving so that the popcorn didn’t burn. The butter had to be melted separately in another sauce pan. Then you had to mix them together with salt (if you wanted salt). Now don’t get me wrong – microwaveable popcorn can burn too, and I’m sure we’ve all experienced burned micro popcorn, but one doesn’t have to literally keep that bag moving like we had to with the pan.

Burned Popcorn – NO Longer!

Pop Secret has come out with an app that will tell you when the bag of popcorn is done!  With the Perfect Pop app there will be no burned popcorn. Perfect Pop listens to the pops, waiting for the precise moment to let you know when your popcorn is perfect. There will be very few kernels left unpopped – 13 didn’t pop in our bag – 13!  That is a savings in itself over many  other brands of popcorn – you’re getting the most out of what you paid for!

And you wanna know what else?  Watching the app is so enthralling!  It’s too darn cute!

We tried the app and before I could even join in on the perfectly cooked popcorn – my two friends decided they were going to start sharing it!  See that look on her face?  That’s a BUSTED look!

As you can see – even though they were busted – they decided they were going to keep going about their business!  Not to worry though – we can always pop another bag using the Pop Secret Perfect Pop app (I want perfect popcorn too!).

Seriously, you really need to try the Perfect Pop App!  It’s not hard to use at all and it’s SO much fun!

How to Use the Perfect Pop App:

**Please Note – The Perfect Pop app, you must have iPhone 5+ on iOS 7+   However – the app store also indicates that the app will work with:

With this app, there is no more relying on the popcorn button (don’t even touch that popcorn button!) or guessing how many seconds in between pops. Pop Secret is serious about perfect popcorn, so the less you have to worry about, the more time you can spend enjoying movie night with your friends & family.

Let’s take a look at what you’ll experience using the Pop Secret Perfect Pop App:

Popcorn bag is in microwave – timer is set – press START

While you’re waiting for the bag to heat up – you’ll see fun facts and the bag to begin to fill

It’s growing!

It’s almost done popping – the bag is near full!

You’re told when to stop the microwave – the timing is precise using this app.

Now you can enjoy it!

If you have kids that are able to read – you could leave the popcorn making to them while you are busy with something else. They will certainly enjoy watching the app in action.  Of course, do not have little ones remove the bag from the oven.
