Some items on my grandson’s school supply list that were unusual was one green pen and one purple pen. I’m guessing it’s for marking mistakes on rough drafts or grading their own papers?
Unusual was when they were asking for gift cards to help with class cost

The weirdest thing on my daughters list is inline earbuds. The hardest thing that we can find in the stores is solid white tennis shoes with zero color.
Zip Lock Bags are on the list. I am used to unusual.
I can’t say anything was unusual or crazy. Just the basics.
Printer Paper is about the strangest thing on our list – it was pretty normal
my little niece wants mirrors for the inside of her locker at age 8 she has quite a list
they are all crazy
I always think clear glue is odd

my grandson in the 5th grade had to bring 28 dry erase markers,,theres over 20 kids in his class that is a lot of dry erase markers
Wow! Just Wow!
It is not unusual but this year my son had to have Elmers gel glue in 0.88size. I have been to every store in town noone has it… Amazon has it for $6 for one stick! he needed two, so I went with a box of 6 for $14… ridiculous for glue sticks!
How crazy is that?! I’m so sorry. I find it hard to swallow that schools/teachers require such things from families.
