A touching post, worthy of reading and taking note of. This post hits home, as a mother of a severely disabled son who survived brain surgery at 3 wks and 7 wks of age from ‘what they weren’t sure they were going in after’, that turned out to be a tumor caused by his dad’s genes and mine not being compatible. The surgeries caused much brain damage, left my son severely disabled – but he is one of the most forgiving and loving individuals you would ever meet. All he wants is to be acknowledged by others – and why shouldn’t he be?
