I was given the opportunity to try a costume for myself. I chose the Kings Jester Adult Costume. The costume consists of a multi-colored long-sleeved tunic and a two-colored jester’s hat. After ordering this particular costume, I wondered if I would have a problem with the hat. I worried it may not stand up on my head without collapsing. Well…I worried for no reason. The hat is constructed of a foam which is sturdy enough to stand up while on the head, but not too heavy where it collapses. The pompoms on the tips of the hat are light enough that they didn’t weigh the tips down. The picture off to the right above (taken from their website), shows the jester’s hat with a red and yellow pompom however, the jester’s hat I received had two green pompoms…regardless, talk about cute…that it is! The tunic, itself, is constructed out of a polyester fabric and flows nicely on the body and down the arms. The tunic is full enough to be worn by an adult size XS- LG. An adult who wears an XS may need to wear a belt, sash or tie, at the waist in order to create the balloon effect of the upper half of the costume. Both, the hat and tunic fabrics are of vibrant colors that match to a tee. I was pleased with the construction of the costume, as well.
