Publishers and Bloggers are able to monetize their sites via many different avenues.  One can sell sidebar space and place another company’s banners in the sidebar.  If you’re a good writer, you could write sponsored posts, which sometimes can be a simple copy and paste pre-written post.  One can write reviews on products and websites – most times gaining the product or service as payment.  One can become an affiliate marketer, place ads through adsense, and one can sell links. One site that offers sponsored posts and text links is Linkvehicle.

Selling links can be done by either placing the text link on your site’s sidebar or in the template of the website.  Linkvehicle’s platform is easy to use.  One must apply and have their site approved prior to being able to accept any tasks.  Once an ad is purchased, you’ll be notified. Should you choose to place the ad on their site, you’ll receive 50% of the net revenue.  This is a great option for those who do not like to write, or aren’t good at composing a written post.

For sponsored posts, you need to determine how much you’re willing to accept for a payment for writing a post.  Most sponsored posts require a minimum of 200 words per post; others may be longer or shorter, depending on what the client is looking for.
