I’d like to share this gift with my brother who’s being treated by the wonderful docs at the Nashville Veteran’s Hopsital: He’s got Stage 4 Cancer and is living in a home for homeless vets in Nashville that is part of Operation Stand Down (an org. to provide/coordinate social and medical services for veterans).
When I’m having a bad day I turn to my two little kitties for comfort. Just talking to them and petting and playing with them boost my mood and they enjoy the interaction as well.
Watching a good TV show always cheers me up on a bad day 🙂
A phone call from family can cheer me up–doesn’t have to be about anything or take much time.
Seeing my grand-baby always cheers me up.
Seeing my 87 year old mom being feisty cheers me up.

When I’m feeling less than great, nothing helps bring me up than playing with my five dogs and three cats. They are the sweetest, most loving furbabies. I have Treeing Walker Coonhounds, which are known as the “clowns” of the dog world, and they really make me laugh.
My kids always make me feel better on a bad day. They tease me out of my sour mood. 🙂
