So many individuals are undernourished especially in foreign countries. Although, none of us can make a difference for all these individuals; together we certainly can try our best to reach as many as possible. If making woman and children healthier by providing them with nutrient packets that can be sprinkled on their locally grown foods – it can’t get much easier than that. That is exactly what Future Fortified is aiming to do.
To know you can make a difference in a child’s life, a pregnant mom’s life, a mom caring for her children – is well worth any effort, and that is why I chose to participate in this blog tour. Not all people on this planet are as blessed as some of us are, nor is there a one of us, who asked to be here. We can all do our best to help make a difference though 🙂
What is Future Fortified?
“Future Fortified is a global campaign to help millions of women and children around the world gain access to the essential nutrients they need to lead healthy, enriched lives.” Future Fortified is a campaing of “GAIN,” meaning Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition. Their goal is to increase access to improved nutrition for 50 million women and children by 2015 by increasing the supply and availability of home nutrition packets, as well as educate families on the importance of nutrition and essential nutrients.
