This Shutterfly Photo Book Giveaway is going to present two (2) readers a 20-page, 8×8 photo book…read on 🙂

I have all the supplies for scrapbooking.  I bought it all after having my daughter but I surely didn’t save any money purchasing this stuff.  How is that?  Simply because the scrapbooking has yet to happen 15 years later.   I thought about getting on it many times but didn’t, and yet, as my daughter aged and each year passed, I felt the anxiety setting in deeper and deeper. I had more pictures that were taken – digital at that – and I knew I was doomed for getting those digital pictures printed. I was so bad at getting filmed developed – how was I ever going to get digital pictures developed and organized?

I then had this brilliant idea to put the very important events into photo books. For instance, my daughter went on her 8th grade class trip to D.C. As a keepsake for her, I took the pictures of importance and put them in a photo book for her birthday. She loved it and my anxiety lessened a bit, as I knew there were prints of her trip out in circulation.  I will also be sending one to my sister for Christmas.  I’ve done the same with several other events that have happened in our family. My next step is to get all the birthday parties and Christmases she’s been a part of into photobooks from years past. The hard part of that will be going through the prints in boxes and scanning them to the computer.

To make my photo books, I use Shutterfly. I found that once I really learned their interface – making a book was a breeze. Shutterfly also has a YouTube video that will guide you through the process. It’s well worth watching as it will save you time in the long run.

Here’s their holiday video:

Photo books make great gifts for anyone.  My sister LOVES photos.  One of my ventures will be to put together a huge photo book for a Christmas present (maybe next year).  I know the book would be treasured forever.  Is there someone on your Christmas list that would love to receive a photo book?

Thanks to Shutterfly, they want TWO winners to experience making their own 8×8 20-page photo books.  The expiration code the winners receive will expire on December 31, 2012.  What a great way to get those Christmas pictures into a photo book straight away!  The giveaway will end on 12/10/2012 at 12:01 AM EST.   Shutterfly is responsible for prize fulfillment.  The Shutterfly Photo Book Giveaway is Rafflecopter powered.
