  1. I hadn’t heard about Redbox starting this service. We’ll definitely look into it. We have Netflix, but sometimes we have to wait for what seems like a long time for the movies we want to watch to become available. Thanks for sharing!

    • You’re welcome Cindy. Personally, I don’t rent movies very often – maybe twice a year. I couldn’t tell you the latest box office hit if asked – at any given time 🙁

  2. For people who watch a lot of movies, that would be a great deal!

  3. I know they have these by stores but didn’t know you could do this on line. We just got Roku and signed up for Netflix. have to talk to my husband about this one

  4. I love redbox and since im a verizon customer i am for sure signing up for this

  5. It would be cool if they some how set it up to go through roku?

    • This is where I’m clueless Eliza. I know what Roku is – but have no idea how it all works 🙁 I rarely sit long enough to watch TV or a movie. I have the TV on ALL the time, but that’s because I have to have the background noise.

  6. We had heard of Redbox and since using Netflix and becoming turned-off by not offering what they should we liked Redbox – now that they offer some of the on-line streaming it has become even more of a reason to use them. Netflix has just stopped releasing the movies that they offered before – so it makes it harder to want to use them. Thanks for the post!

  7. i love redbox and am super excited to try their streaming service.

  8. I did not know that redbox was going to be moving up to this streaming. That is such great information. Thank you. I go to the box now and again, but have to remember to return them, which I get charged for so many days because I forget or can’t get them back to the box. Uhg!!

    • Having to return movies is one of my biggest reasons for not renting from anywhere. There are some days, or should I say even some weeks, when I can’t leave the house. I could use the cable On Demand to rent from – but by the time I pay for the movie and then the taxes on that – I’d rather just go without!
