I’m not sure about you, but I know for me, that it frustrates me to no end when I buy something and then it gets lost wherever my daughter may be.   I pay too much for belongings to disappear in a lost and found box or left at a friend’s house where a bunch of other kids have gathered.  A simple way to help with those disappearing articles – is to label them!

I wished I had thought of this when my daughter was younger – especially labeling her socks.  She loses more socks than anything else.  And I have more socks that belong to other kids that have visited our home  than you can imagine.  And usually – these socks aren’t in pairs, but are singles.  I hold onto them for so long and if they aren’t claimed or recognized by my daughter – they get put in with the paint supplies to use for staining.

Mabel’s Labels Tagmates would have saved me a lot of money over the years had I known about them.  What’s cool about Mabel’s Labels is that there are so many different types, for different uses.  Many of the clothing labels can withstand the washer and dryer.  There are others that are wash aways.  Sometimes it just makes sense to spend money to save you money in the long run.

  1. Sounds like this is something that I need to get for my daughter’s things, she is always losing something at school.
