My son came home today.  Thank you all for keeping him in your thoughts and prayers.   Thank you again to those who helped me w/the giveaway. There has only been one other time I was ever so scared of losing him.  That was back 27 yrs. ago, when he had his first brain surgery at 3 weeks of age, to remove the tumor which never was completely removed as he began to hemorrhage.  He’s had many surgeries and illnesses over the years; but this one…this one was the utmost worst experience we’ve encountered.  I wish I could save other families from ever going through what we just went through….but I can’t.  I can only offer them support and will whenever I can.  To put a face to the name you have all prayed for…I am changing my profile picture…the new picture is a pic of Ryan and I.  It’s a picture that was printed in NH Disabilities Rights Center 1/4ly newsletter a couple years ago, when I did a interview for the newsletter 🙂

To give you an idea of what my Ryan is like when he’s feeling well:
Someone posted on my personal Facebook…
so happy, I bet he is too.”
My response:
Happy isn’t the word…he’s a friggin’ pistol tonight! I have gotten more hugs, more kisses…more I O U’s (I love you) than one can count. I am surprised the whole city of Concord couldn’t hear him when he saw the van pull up to the entrance by the cafeteria…he was just roaring…:-)! I had the LNA give him a treat….a Devil Dog… just a couple minutes ago…he saw the package and began to say “umm umm umm umm umm” before the package was even open! He’s just too funny. This is cute…the Intensivist who discharged him was checking his vitals just before we left. He couldn’t grab her so he brings his arms into himself and goes ouuuuuuu…she thought she was hurting him…I told her no…he’s hugging you. She goes….”he’s a hoot!” Then he starts blowing her kisses. He certainly has his way of being known and remembered!

Chapter:  Intubation for pneumonia…CLOSED!

Again, thank you for all your support!
