A couple of months.
Since I’m now on disability, I don’t even get to go on vacation 🙁
I try to plan my vacations in 6 months advance. That way there is plenty of time to get the best deals.
Unfortunately, we rarely go on vacation, but I’d start making plans at least 6 months in advance.
I don’t usually start planningn vacations to far in advance, maybe a month or two; unless it’s going to cost lot’s and have to save up money, then maybe bout a year.
I usually start planning my next vacation about six months in advance.
And actual vacation, usually 6 months or so, depending on the number of people going.
I rarely take trips, but when I do, it usually comes up suddenly and I don’t have much, if any, time to plan!
We usually start planning in January! Right after Christmas!
If it’s a big vacation I have planned a year in advance. I usually give a big trip at least two weeks. I have planned a short trip three hours in advance before.

Depending on the vacation, i plan anywhere from 6 months to 1 month before. If you count trips to vegas, well, those don’t need much planning!
It depends on where we are going. My side of the Family lives in Nevada and my Family of 5 lives in Michigan so if we plan to vacations out there I have to plan well over a year in advance. I just sock away a little each payday. For the most part we usually do staycations were it’s much easier to save for.

I would say up to a year. I am always planning an eventual vacation!
Mentally, I start planning my next vacation a year in advance, but I don’t make reservations until about 6 months before I intend to leave.

As I’m on the current vacation. .I’m a list maker so I constantly find myself jotting down what to do better next time..with 3 kids under the age of 3 it keeps me as sane as I can be.
