If you’re looking for a great sounding speaker system without the high-cost, I highly recommend this Cyber Acoustics Subwoofer Satellite System (CA-3602). After buying another model (same brand with subwoofer) at Walmart because I needed them ASAP – which were $15 cheaper and were extremely crappy sounding I might add – I ended up taking those back and purchasing these. I couldn’t be any happier with my purchase.
It wasn’t but 10 minutes before my daughter just had to hook them up to see what this speaker system sounded like. It was music to our ears to hear a great sound (especially if you like bass – there’s a booster for that). Plus this system is so much louder than the other set I bought. Needless to say, we now own two of these systems. My daughter spent her Christmas money on these to hook up to her laptop. I can’t say mom is going to survive the latter purchase – I swear the girl is deaf!

That’s funny. How can kids listen to music so loudly? Did we do that? I’m sure we drove our parents nuts. At least I hope so! That would explain a lot!
Thanks for the info – I’m always looking for a good gift for my college-age nieces and nephews and this would be perfect.
I remember my parents saying ‘keep the volume low’ to me almost daily because I did play my music loud. Now I am the one telling my kids – how funny life is.
Life is funny! Did we not believe our parents when they said we’d ruin our hearing? Or, did we think that they didn’t understand us? For me – I think that as I age – my head just can’t t stand all that loud banging off the inside of my head crap.

The speakers seem rather bulky, but if the quality is good, I can over look that.

My Boyfriend and I have been speaking about getting a new speaker system…..I think I will tell him about this one..I am pretty sure that he will like it.
For the price – you can’t go wrong. We own two of these now 🙂
