Because I Tried It specializes in creating personalized digital gifts at a real decent price.  I received the Birthday Chronicle for review purposes.  I chose to have this personalized for my daughter.   After filling out the form, it wasn’t long before I received an email with a PDF file attached, chronicling my the day of my daughter’s birth.

Speaking of printing it out.  I always do a test run before I print something such as this.  This is so that I don’t waste the more expensive card stock that I will print it on before I mount it.  I wanted the chronicle to print on the entire face of the paper.  In order to do this, I had to adjust my settings on the print screen – not a problem.  I was a tad bit disappointed that the chronicle didn’t have the same side margins.  This may be done on purpose on Because I Tried It’s end or maybe it’s my printer settings.  Again, not a big deal, I will just cut off the excess on the left side.  After I print this out on card stock, I will be adding The Birthday Chronicle to my daughter’s baby book.  She will have it for many years to come.  Maybe some day she will want to frame it to display it in her home.

As far as the Birthday Chronicle itself – it is 8 1/2 x 11 in dimensions that can be purchased via 4 different options, ranging from $2.00 to $20.00.  It also includes a greeting, by name, from the then-President of the US, along with major newspaper headlines and stories that took place the year of the person’s birth.

The Birthday Chronicle is one of many different choices found at Because I Tried It.  The Anniversary Almanac would be great for an anniversary gift.  There are letters from Santa, the Easter Bunny, and Tooth Fairy.  You can view all the different products offered {HERE}

Because I Tried It donates to children in need.  Each item sold on their website that is emailed ($2.00) 100% of the proceeds help children in need!  What a great way to give back!

Because I Tried It is allowing me to host a giveaway for two of their Birthday Chronicles sent via email in PDF format for the winners to print out.  Their only stipulation is that no bloggers are allowed to enter.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
