There was a time in my life when I was a renter, and honestly, aside from seeing my money go out the window “so-to-speak”, there really is something to be said for renting. But you know what? Finding an apartment back in the day wasn’t anywhere as easy as it is today. Back then the only resources we had available were – word-of-mouth, newspapers, and roadside advertising. Luckily, for those looking for an apartment in today’s times, simply heading to the apartments.com website – makes it easy for one to find and apartment in their location or in another state clear across the country.
The website is extremely easy to use and comes with many filters and amenities. One can start simply by putting in the city and state or zip code of where they’re looking for an apartment and hit search – a list of options show. One can narror their search by utilizing the filters available.
Look at all the filters:
- Rent Min
- Rent Max
- Property Type
- Sq Ft Min
Search results are fantastic. If one doesn’t want to use the filters and look at all options available – the search results will pull up apartments in your designated area. One is able to select ones that are of interest, which in turn will show the rental rates, the sq. footage of the apartments, the features and amenities, what is available for parking, the neighborhood and information on the building and the office hours. Should you decide you’re interested in a particular apartment – checking availability is as simple as filling out the form on the page.
What I find extremely helpful in making a decision to check availability is that one can take a virtual tour of the apartments. Some show floorplans and 360* views, others are shown like one would see on a real estate website – as a slide show. Seeing floorplans and 360* views – can be extremely helpful when one can’t hop on a plane to find their perfect apartment clear across the US.
I actually did a search for Las Vegas apartments. I found it very easy to navigate the website, the search results pulled up a ton of options and I just loved being able to view apartments in 360*! The floorplans were extremely helpful as well. Personally, I wouldn’t want my bedroom right beside the entry door.
Another assets available to users are their mobile Apps available for iPhones, iPads and Androids.
