We watch Christmas movies together and have hot chocolate and cookies.
We have tons of food, ppl over,and have a tradition of letting my kids open a couple presents before bedtime.
we have a open house for friends and family for hot apple cider and snacks,,its a drop in deal after church services
Our Christmas Eve tradition consists of watching Christmas movies, drinking hot cocoa, and opening one small gift before bedtime.
We go visit my mother and go to my childhood church on Christmas Eve.
Usually Christmas Eve we go to church then come home, watch a Christmas movie while enjoying pizza!

The whole family gets together on Christmas eve. Aunts, cousins, the whole shebang. We eat, drink and just enjoy the evening.
We have a big dinner on Christmas Eve and open family gifts. Then on Christmas Day we have a big breakfast and go to my sister’s house for dinner.
We go to church. Then we have snacks while we open presents.
My son and daughter-in-law come for dinner and then we exchange presents.
Yes we have a tradtion on Christmas eve- we go for long walks in the park and listen to the carolers, then we go to midnight mass and then home to have hot cider and open one gift as a rememberance of the gift he gave to us- eternal life.
We have a family get together and serve snack foods. The children open their presents from family members. We watch Christmas Vacation during it all.
We exchange gifts and have a family dinner on Christmas eve.
We really don’t have a Christmas Eve tradition nowadays. My fondest memory of a tradition was when I was much younger & still at home, we’d gather around the Christmas Tree & sing Carols 🙂
Setting cookies and milk out for Santa and carrots for the reindeer.
We love to sit with our tree lights on, have a great meal and share how good God has been with us throughout the year. This wreath sounds beautiful. It would be great for our front door. Thank you so much for sharing
Our only, sort of, christmas eve tradition is that everyone gets to open one present 🙂 but, if there aren’t many presents that year, we wait so there is more to open the next day 🙂
The kids get to open one gift (usually pj’s) and watch movies and have popcorn and hot cocoa.
Yes! Our Christmas Eve tradition is pizza, Christmas movies, and playing board games in our Christmas pjs!
We don’t really have any certain Christmas traditions we just like to get together and have a good time!!
Our Christmas Eve Tradition is midnight mass and home for hot chocolate and open 1 present from godparents.
We leave cookies out for Santa and open one present each on Christmas Eve!
We go look at lights while Santa makes a super special extra early pit stop to set out a yummy feast (the elves help with this part) of sausages, cheese, pepperoni, crackers and they also put out our homemade cookies and candies. They leave egg nog and cider in the fridge. And presents – new jammies & / or blanket, a game, and a movie to help pass the time. We’ve been doing this since my oldest was an infant and she’s in her mid 30’s now. So fun and it meant so much to the girls that they are doing it with my grandsons 😀
On Christmas Eve we always go to my Grandma’s house for brunch. One of our favorite traditions is on Christmas Night. After we leave a family gathering we drive around late at night looking at the Christmas lights. It is a very peaceful night to take time to reflect and just relax after the holidays.

We do! We watch as many Christmas movies as we can and make cookies for Santa and make sure to get a carrot for his reindeer!
Yes I do! My tradition is to put off the gift wrapping til the last possible minute, so I am usually up about the time the kids are ready to open gifts on Christmas Morning!!
