Yesterday was Earth day. A day dedicated to making our Earth better than how we found it. Green Works wants to help you celebrate and give you the tools necessary to make a greener change in your life.

Green Works is all about making a change in your cleaning routine. The team behind Green Works® took it up as a personal cause to work on a line of products that clean powerfully without harsh chemical fumes or residue. They knew that parents like them were looking for ways to live a more natural lifestyle — and made it their mission to help them achieve this goal. They had to find a formula that was naturally derived, affordable — and worked great.

First, they started with what they knew best — how to make things clean. Then they figured out how to make the components of that formula naturally derived.Putting the “green” in
Green Works®products:

  • Are made with plant- and mineral-based cleaning ingredients.
  • Come from biodegradable ingredients that are naturally derived
  • Are not tested on animals.
  • Use environmentally sustainable packaging whenever possible.
  • Are acknowledged by the EPA’s Design for the Environment program.

Green Works not only wants to help us all adopt a Greener life style but to see the beauty in every day objects some might consider trash. By Gathering everyday objects many of us might just throw away and making them into Green Works of Art we can show our children the way to upcycle and find beauty around us.

  1. My family does a lot to stay green. We have a large garden, chickens, and live very simply. We don’t drive to work, and only drive to town a couple times a month.

  2. I do my best to conserve water, especially with what’s going on in California. I turn the water off while I brush my teeth, put an nozzle on the end of my hoses with automatic shut off, take shorter showers, only wash full loads of clothes and dishes.

  3. Although my rural trash pickup doesn’t use recycle I recycle myself by taking it to a local recycle trailer.

  4. We recycle everything we can, we reuse and repurpose items and we buy secondhand a lot.

  5. We recycle almost everything! We never use paper plates or plastic utensils & I use natural cleaners like vinegar and baking soda.

  6. I plan to recycle and also stop buying water in the bottles and just re-use my filtered water bottle.

  7. We’re going to start recycling. My daughter is learning more about it, and we never did it before, so I figure now is the perfect time.

  8. We are part of a CSA and recycle a lot of things most people do not!
